Tykuno LLC ("Tykuno", "we", "our", or "us") provides AI-powered messaging, automation, and customer engagement tools for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data when you use our websites, web app, APIs, and any other products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. Your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the personal data needed to deliver and improve the Services.

A. Information You Provide

Account and business details

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Business name, role, and other profile information
  • Account login details (such as password)

Customer data you load into Tykuno ("Customer Content")

When you use Tykuno as a business customer, you may connect or upload:

  • CRM records (for example, Salesforce or similar CRM systems)
  • Contact lists and lead data (names, phone numbers, email addresses, tags, notes)
  • Conversation history and message content (SMS, WhatsApp, email, web chat, etc.)
  • Booking information, forms, and other objects you configure in the platform
  • Calendar or email metadata and content where you choose to connect those systems

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use this data and to provide it to us.

Billing and payments

Paid plans are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe). They collect payment card information and billing details. We do not store your full payment card number. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Communications with us

If you contact us (for example, via email or an in-product form), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, and the content of your message.

Surveys, demos, and marketing sign-ups

We collect information you provide when you request a demo, respond to surveys, or subscribe to marketing updates (for example, your name, email address, and preferences).

Careers

If you apply for a job, we collect the information in your application, such as your contact details, resume/CV, and work history.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

Meet legal and regulatory requirements and enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data (that cannot reasonably identify you) for any lawful purpose.

We do not sell your personal data.

We share personal data only in these situations:

At your direction

When you send messages or run automations, we transmit Customer Content to your chosen recipients and channels.

When you connect external services (for example, CRM, calendar, or email), we share and sync data as you configure.

Service providers

We share data with trusted vendors that help us deliver the Services, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, Google Cloud)
  • Communication providers (for example, SMS, voice, and WhatsApp partners)
  • AI model providers (for example, OpenAI or similar services)
  • Payment processors
  • Analytics, logging, and error-tracking tools
  • Email, in-app messaging, and support platforms

These providers may only use personal data to provide services to us and are contractually required to protect it.

Business transfers

If Tykuno is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

Account information

You can update certain account details in your account settings or by contacting us at support@tykuno.ai.

Marketing communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing support@tykuno.ai. We may still send important service or security notices.

Messages sent through Tykuno

If you receive messages through Tykuno from one of our business customers and want to stop those messages, please follow the opt-out instructions in the message (for example, texting STOP) or contact that business directly. We process these messages as a service provider for that business.

Cookies

You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact some features.

Do Not Track

There is currently no standard for responding to "Do Not Track" signals, so we do not respond to them.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

In general:

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Customer Content is retained according to your account settings and our backup and log retention policies.
  • Certain records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or security reasons.

You may request deletion of your account or certain data by contacting support@tykuno.ai or legal@tykuno.ai. We may retain some information where we have a legal obligation or legitimate business need.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account or data has been compromised, please contact security@tykuno.ai right away.

7. International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the United States and are primarily intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.

By using the Services, you consent to these transfers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact legal@tykuno.ai.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion of personal data
  • A copy of your personal data in a portable format
  • Objection to, or restriction of, certain processing

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Updated" date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Services after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated Policy.
